MY REVIEW
Trace based on the internationally acclaimed true crime podcast. Rachael Brown investigates a 37-years-cold murder.
Trace is an unputdownable book. It’s a very sad story of Maria James a mother of two, who is repeatedly stabbed to death in her own bedroom. John and Maria had been separated for 18 months, but they had always remained on good terms with each other. Maria must have known that something was going to happen to her as she was on the phone to her ex- husband when someone stabbed her to death. John raced to her house and was deeply distressed finding his ex-wife dead. Many issues occurred before and after the death of Maria. The police had suspects, but no one was ever arrested.
