Memoir published by Clink Street

The Story of a relationship

On a White Horse charts the story of the relationship between two people, Cathy a struggling artist and Dan a burgeoning entrepreneur/publisher. How they met by chance in a pub off Carnaby Street in the early nineties and how their relationship was to flourish for nearly a quarter of a century until Dan’s untimely death from bowel cancer at the age of fifty eight.

MY REVIEW

Bowel cancer awareness . Sometimes people ignore early signs of bowel cancer. The book On a White Horse, arrived just as my partner received his letter for Bowel cancer Screening Programme, which many men and women receive once over 55.

About On a White Horse. I now know how this memoir got its title, On a White Horse,  but I don’t want to disclose that information, I’m sure all you lovely readers would like to find out for yourself. I was instantly amazed at Cathy’s idea she formed and her strength she had throughout this tragic journey. Cathy takes us through the stages of her husband’s diagnosis of bowel Cancer. Technically I personally think it took the doctors far too long to make this fatal bowel cancer discovery. I personally think if a doctor had diagnosed it earlier something may have prevented it at the stage of untreatable. Please read this amazing memoir book. It’s a very tiny thin book of 115 pages, you can read it in a day or pop in your hand bag or man bag.
