Paperback published by HQ
It’s Livia’s 40th birthday. She’s having a party of a life time to make up for the wedding she never had. During the day, her husband, Adam, hears some terrible news. He needs to tell Livia, because how can the party go on? But she’s so happy so excited and the guests are about to arrive.
MY REVIEW
With being a big fan of B A Paris, I have to say my favourite were Behind Closed a Doors that I gave 5 stars to and Bring Me Back , that I also gave 5 stars to on Goodreads.
I think that The Dilemma has been written in a fresh different style to all the other books, I couldn’t stop reading it. The Dilemma is a move away from the psych suspense with a powerful, affecting tale . One that will change a family forever.
Reading Dilemma, early on New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day, gave me that feeling of a party.
Livia has been planning a party, she been putting money away for years, she set the date for the party but the one thing Livia had never imagined possible is that her daughter Marnie was going to Hong Kong, and to make matters worse there wasn’t a chance that the party date could be changed as Josh was leaving to New York.
Livia is about to keep a secret from Adam about Marnie, but it’s a secret I didn’t see coming. It ends with a tragic loss that I also didn’t see coming.
I recommend The Dilemma as the shocks secret and heartbreaking ending no one will ever imagine that it’s going to happen.
I’m always interested in how authors think up their ideas for their novel and B A Paris has always wondered about the gap in time between someone receiving terrible news and telling their loved ones that news. In The Dilemma B A Paris wanted to explore just how far someone might go to give the person they love their last few moments of happiness.
MY THANKS
I would like to thank HQ for sending me a early paperback proof copy to read and review and for inviting me to take part in The Dilemma blog tour.
