My review
I couldn’t put this book down! I was entertained for days reading The Scoop by Cat Walker.
Casey’s best friend, Danny probably thinks Casey is having a midlife crisis. With Casey being a lesbian she didn’t really get her parents and they most certainly didn’t get Casey.
Casey, thought about quitting her job most of the time, but never did. As the years went by she had enough, and emptied the full contents of her desk drawer in one swoop straight into the bin. Something tipped her over edge after fetching coffee to her team for twelve years without so much of a thanks. And within that moment Casey walked out of the office. She planned never to return. But on the HR phoned her and asked why she hasn’t been in. The unplanned thing was that Casey didn’t know that she could sued without working out her notice. But Casey has an ambition.

Cat Walker was born and raised in the sunny seaside town of Scarborough in Noth Yorkshire. She is a grown up eternal student, with many various jobs under her belt, and a passion for travel, which has seen her wandering the globe in search of the truth. The Scoop is her debut novel. Cat Currently lives in Brighton with her wife and baby son. Cat Walker is not having a mid-life crisis.
