The further Lizzie dives into the glossy world of Brooklyn’s Park Slope, the more she realises that things don’t add up. Zach doesn’t know the most basis details of his wife’s past, and Amanda’s friends barely know he exists.
And uncovering the truth, Lizzie will be forced to confront dark secrets that Lieut the heart of her own once-reflect marriage.
MY REVIEW
I loved reading every single page taking it all in of A Good Marriage, to the extent I couldn’t put my paperback down. I would easy give this book more than five stars if I could have.
I did like the scene where Amanda Grayson was found dead at the bottom of the stairs with blood splattered on the walls and on the stairs I could picture it well but…….
One tiny thing.
One small thing I had a tiny problem with is with how Zach’s wife Amanda Grayson found dead in their house at the bottom of the stairs, with lots of blood splattered on the walls and on the stairs and was beaten to death with a golf club.
This part only, reminded me of a True Netflix TV series, Behind The Staircase, with Micheal Peterson’s, wife, Katherine Peterson, found in a pool of blood at the bottom of the stairs with blood splattered on the walls and on the stairs is the same situation as character Amanda’s Grayson’s death at the bottom of the stairs.
In the Netflix Michael Peterson was accused of beating his wife to death with a poker stick from the their fireplace. But Amanda Grayson was beaten with a golf club, where the golf clubs do happen to appear further in the story making it a whole lot different.
Maybe some other fiction books have quite the same details with someone killed at the bottom of the stairs with blood splattered on the walls and the stairs.
Moving on
Out of the blue lawyer Lizzie received a telephone call from Zac Grayson a law school friend, he needs Lizzie to help him he has been arrested for the death of his wife and injuring a police officer.
The death of Zac’s wife Amanda in Park Slope is suspicious and so is her past, but how much does Zac know?
Lizzie explains to Zac Grayson that she is a Defense attorney her experience is with white-collar and that Zac would be better off with a Defense attorney with homicide experience, but Zac persuades Lizzie to help him get out of Rikers.
I became obsessed and couldn’t stop reading , with how Lizzie was going to prove that Zac didn’t kill his wife.
The death of Zac’s wife Amanda in Park Slope becomes even more suspicious and so has her past, but how much does Zac know about?
Zac and Amanda had been at a party, Amanda left early, when Zac arrived home his wife was in a pool of blood at the bottom of the stairs. He claims he didn’t kill her. It’s now Lizzie’s job to find out who did kill his wife. Zac is a very rich man what possibly go wrong?
There’s plenty of twist and turns to keep you wondering who killed Amanda Grayson at the bottom of the stairs.
A Good Marriage was absolutely excellent from beginning to the very last page. Everything else apart from the part I outlined in this paperback has many mouth dropping moments with the oh my god!
The story goes through many processing statements, it’s easy to become addicted in wanting to know how this will end.
I hope you all enjoy reading A Good Marriage by Kimberly McCrieght as much as what I did.
I would like to thank arrow books for sending me a finished copy of this paperback that was a top excellent page turner.
