Lawyers Judith Burton and Constance Lamb team up once again, this time to defend a man who may not want to go free.

MY REVIEW

I’m a huge fan of author Abi Silver’s books. I have read The Aladdin Trial and The Pinocchio Brief. This is the perfect court drama book. I personally love reading books with a court drama. Naturally for me I found the dialogue in the court room scenes fascinating, so I couldn’t put this book down. So what’s the story about.

The main character is James Salisbury who is the founder of SEDA cars that are an autonomous vehicle which can drive itself or be put into manual.

The SEDA cars have been specially designed with safety features with cameras, lasers, radar and other sensors that have advanced breaking system plus innovative steering which means it doesn’t crash.

But tragedy strikes, where James Salisbury managed to do just that, he crashes his car. Now there is trouble as James clearly doesn’t remember anything about his car accident.

The court needs to decide how was it even possible for James to crash his SEDA car and kill two young children. The facts are either James was driving his car, or his SEDA somehow malfunctioned. If James is found guilty of driving his SEDA car, he will go to prison, but if his SEDA car malfunctioned then maybe he could get away with it all.

With all the brilliant twists within in this story , I can honestly tell you The Cinderella Plan is a real must read.

About author Abi Silver
I cannot remember a time when I was not writing stories. Growing up with a house full of books (my parents were teachers), I was inspired from an early age to believe I could join the ranks of my heroes.
I grew up in Leeds and studied in Cambridge before settling down to a legal career in London. I travelled extensively through Asia, South America and Australia and lived in Israel. Being an ‘outsider’ (as you frequently are when you travel or live overseas) makes you a wonderful people-watcher and it certainly informed my writing. I now live in Hertfordshire with my husband and three sons.
The Cinderella Plan is the third in the Burton & Lamb legal thriller series.
