SONG OF THE NILE BY HANNAH FIELDING

PUBLISHED BY LONDON WALL PUBLISHERS 27TH MAY 2021

I’m very pleased to take part in the blog tour Song of The Nile by Hannah Fielding

From the award winning romance novelist, comes a passionate, slow burning romance that will have you wanting to move to the continent for an old fashioned holiday romance of pure escapism.

Luxor, 1946. When young nurse Aida El Marsri returns from war- torn London to her family estate in Egypt she steels herself against the challenges ahead.

Eight years have passed since her father, Ayoub, was framed for a crime he did not commit, and died as a tragic result. Yet Aida has not forgotten, and now she wants revenge against the man she believes betrayed her father- his best friend, Kamel Pharaony.

Then Aida is reunited with Kamel’s son, the captivating surgeon Phares, who offers her marriage. In spite of herself, the secret passion Aida harboured for him as a young girl reignites. Still, how can she marry the son of the man who destroyed her father and brought shame on her family? Will coming home bring her love, or only danger and heartache?

Song of the Nile is set in the exotic and bygone of Upper Egypt, that follows Aida’s journey of rediscovery of the homeland she loves, with its white-sailed feluccas on the Nile, old-world charms of Cario and the ancient secrets of its burning desert sands and the man she has never forgotten.

A compelling story of passion and intrigue. This novel lays open the beating heaof Egypt. A sensual tale of romance and nostalgia, song of the Nile illustrates the pain of loss, the power of love and strength of heroine determined to put things right.

MY REVIEW

I read and reviewed Concerto for my website bookread2day. here is my review is inside of Song of the Nile.

I’m very pleased talented story teller Hannah Fielding is back again with her new hardback Song of the Nile, that’s bursting at the seams with loss and romance, framed to have kept me awake way pass by early bedtime routine!

The story opens up with Aida’s father Ayoub, in Luxor, Egypt, 1938 in an iron cage at the side of the courtroom, for a crime he didn’t commit. The stress was too much bare and Aida’s father collapsed and died.

Eight years have passed and Aida a qualified nurse travels from London after the war back to Egypt, to her father’s estate and now the war is over she is all set for revenge who betrayed her father, her best friend Kamal Pharaony. It was only time when she knew that she would have to meet Kamel Pharaony again , but after all these years what would she see in Kamel Pharaony when she saw him again.

She hadn’t been in Egypt in that long when she is  being pushed into a marriage of convenience to Kamel Phararony’s son Phares who still wants to marry her.

Will Aida marry Karmel’s son Phares, after all she has beaut through with her father’s death?
