Welcome to Fool’s Gold

After a string of romantic disasters Charity is looking for the perfect love and Josh is completely wrong for her – even if he thinks he is perfect just the way he is.

Josh Golden is hiding something. He’s not nearly as perfect as everyone thinks. An accident has left the former Tour de France winner with scars that no one can see. No one, that is, except the town’s newest resident, Charity Jones. If he knew what was good for him, he would stay far away from her. But maybe that’s just what he needs―someone who knows the value of his flaws…

Neither Charity nor Josh may be perfect, but are they perfect for each other?

MY REVIEW

Susan Mallery is the Queen of fairytale contemporary romance. I am a big fan of Susan Mallery novels, I’m always wondering what author Susan will come up with next. What I particularly like is every story is literally quite unique, that’s what grabs me about he stories.

In the story Chasing Perfect a young woman Charity Jones has accepted a new job as city planner in Fool’s Gold. She cleaver at her job listing some problems with adding solutions to them. While the meeting is taking place in the conference room. Charity noticed an handsome blonde guy, with a bicycle helmet, in a tight shirt and bike shorts, leaving little to the imagination. The young handsome man happens to be Josh Golden, a celebrated the cyclist, the second youngest winner of the Tour de France. He was married to someone famous and now divorced.

As Charity is new to the area of Fool’s Gold, who is better than handsome Josh to show Charity around the friendly place Fool’s Gold in his black SUV. Charity is sweep away so much by his charm she did her best not to blush.

Oh I feel a romance blooming in the air!

This story held my heart with the secret that Josh Golden is hiding. Josh may have his flaws, with not being hundred percent perfect but then again Charity might not be so perfect, in every way herself, but I just knew Josh and Charity would be just perfect together or will they be?

I didn’t realise that Fool’s Gold was a series, until I read Chasing Perfect, with part bonus chapters of A Fool’s Gold Wedding and Almost Perfect. I now very much want to read all the Fool’s Gold series. I love any romance story that has author Susan Mallery name to.

I would like to thank Mills and Boon for sending me the printed paperback along with my delicious biscuits and English Tea Shop tea bags.
