MY REVIEW

Rigatoni The Pasta Cat by Michael Rosen is pure brilliant.

Everyone who loves cats and pasta will adore this light comical story.

I haven’t never known a cat that wants to eat pasta, therefore I absolutely adore the incredible imagination of author Michael Rosen.

When Rigatoni the cat is left alone in the house while it’s owners have to go away, a neighbour comes in to feed Rigatoni cat food, that Rigatoni hates.

Feeling depressed as Rigatoni wants pasta, the cat goes off and searches for a home that will feed Rigatoni some delicious pasta.

I urge all schools to order a few of these books as children will adore it!

I want to highly recommend Rigatoni The Pasta Cat to parents to buy their children this wonderful picture story book as I’m an adult and loved it myself.

Michael Rosen

Michael Rosen is one of the best-known figures in the children’s book world. He is renowned for his work as a poet, performer, broadcaster and scriptwriter. He visits schools with his one-man show to enthuse children with his passion for books and poetry. In 2007 he was appointed Children’s Laureate, a role which he held until 2009. While Laureate, he set up The Roald Dahl Funny Prize. He currently lives in London with his wife and children.
