My name is Maddy Yip I’m off on a seaside holiday with my bezzie Dev. Our biggest dream is to ride on the brand new, completely mind-blowing roller coaster called the MEGA BEAST! One problem though: I have to bring my annoying little brother and my bonkers grandad along for the weekend. I mean, dealing with killer seagulls is bad enough! Will they stop me from loop-the looping on the BEST RIDE EVER?

MY REVIEW

Calling all girls aged 8 to 12 you will adore the fun Maddy Yips series of books.

I read the first one in the series, Maddy Yips Guide to Life.

Maddy Yips Guide to Holidays is absolutely hilarious.

The little picture that go with scenes of events are really highly funny.

I’m really surprised that Maddy Yips mum still looks after the those naughty twins, that Maddy calls them the evil twins.

It’s Easter time when Maddy and her best friend Dev are bored. Brainstorming what to do , Dev hits on the idea of inventing The Plunkthorpe World Records eating as many Easter eggs as they can in one go.

While buying loads of Easter eggs they see a poster advertising a new Mega Beast ride in Sudmouth Amusement Park.

When they get to Sudmouth they need a special voucher to enter. We are taken through the laugh out loud journey of how Maddy and Dev are going to get a voucher so they both ride the Mega Beast.

I’m absolutely delighted to be back reading about Maddy Yip with her family and best friend Dev. I’m already looking forward to the third book, which I know is progress.

Thank you so much Andersen Press and Walker Books for sending me a copy to read and review 💛
