MY REVIEW

I’m shouting at the top of my voice please read this page-turning novel The Perfect Neighborhood by Liz Alterman, it’s impossible not to put it down!

Soon as I started reading The Perfect Neighborhood, the TV series Desperate Housewives sprung to my mind. And I loved Desperate Housewives, like I couldn’t take my eyes off this book.

Actress Allison Langley and her rock star husband, Christopher, seemed like the perfect couple in Oak Hill, to all the neighbourhood. They were always laughing together, with looking so radiant even when they jogged past their neighbours. And to all the neighbours even their dog was beautiful. How could any neighbours not love them ? The Langley’s were the primary topic to talk about.

But neighbours tongues, start gossiping again about the Langley’s, when they find out Allison has left her husband in the early hours of a late April morning.

Then five year old, Billy Barnes, disappears after walking home alone from Kindergarten. This is something serious that the neighbours become concerned about. Is it too young for a five year old to walk home alone, from Kindergarten? And has he been taken? Abducted.

Rachel Barnes, Billy’s mother took her sons phone from him, so now he wouldn’t be able to call her if he was in some trouble.

Billy’s babysitter arrived late at the house and is now a person of interest in a missing child’s investigation.

I have never read a story with so many twist and turns, and was shell shocked by discovery where they find Billy.
