At the front of the line, Taylan tried to stay as far away from the faker as she could, standing at the edge of the family photo. She turned her lips upwards as though she were smiling, but she was boiling inside, just boiling.

As Judy talked with Cinderella, asking if she could touch her pretty Princess dress, Taylan saw a bird sitting quietly in the corner of the castle room and munching calmly on a worm. When the bird moved, Taylan jumped and screeched before she could stop herself. The bird stopped and stared at her as though it was just disgusted with her as she was with it. Of course, her scream brought everyone’s attention to her as well as the security guard’s. She pointed at the bird, and the bird quickly swallowed the rest of it worm.

“Are you scared of the bird?” Judy asked Cinderella, the little girl’s eyes wide as the bird flapped and jumped.

Cinderella smiled widely, “ Oh, I’m not scared of any animals. He’s actually my friend. He was just asking if I could use some refreshments after a long day of meeting princesses. Thank you my friend,” Cinderella directed this at the bird. “I’m doing just fine.”
