The unnamed narrator of I’M A FAN is a seemingly unequal relationship with the man I want to be with. She is also addicted to cyber-stalking the man’s other lover, an online influencer she refers to as the woman I am obsessed with.

MY REVIEW

I’m giving this debut novel I’M A FAN a huge shout out as it’s 100% brilliant.

I was hooked into this debut novel from the first page, until the last word, as I love reading about affairs and online storylines, so this novel was just right for me.

I’m A Fan, digs much deeper than any novel about online following, to the degree of stalking.

An unnamed character has a loyal boyfriend, but that didn’t stop her from sending a fan mail to the man she wants to be with. Her fantasies of following The Man She Wants To Be With, is having a secret affair with him, although he is a married man. But this married man has his flaws too.

I think she took her stalking a bit too far. As what gets a little scary is when this unnamed woman, wants to get revenge on his wife.

She is also obsessed with a woman who she calls The Woman I Am Obsessed With, she keeps on taking loads of screenshots, of her luxury contents posts, so she knew everything about the woman who has so many followers. I think this stalker is a bit envious of the woman she calls, The Woman I am Obsessed With.

This story is absolutely addictive, about a high tension sexual relationship. I highly recommend this book I’M A Fan as everyone is talking about this exciting debut novel, from newspapers, to many readers.

Now I’m a fan of Sheena Patel’s writing and I’m looking forward to see what this author writes about next.
