LOOKING OUT FOR LOVE BY SOPHIA MONEY-COUTTS.
Paperback published by HQ 2nd February 2023
CAN YOU FIND LOVE WHERE YOU LEAST EXPECT IT?
Stella Shakespeare isn’t having a good day, or month come to think of it. She’s been unceremoniously dumped by her boyfriend, cut off from the bank of dad and, at thirty-two years old, she doesn’t know what she’s doing with her life.
What Stella really wants is to find love. She wants all consuming, can’t-think-about-anything-else, can’t-even-manage-to-eat kind of love. But when a tall, handsome man in a well-fitting suit walks into a Notting Hill pub, she thinks she’s finally found The One.
Everything seems to be falling into place now Stella has met the man of her dreams and has an actual job working with a private investigator nicknamed The Affair Hunter. Although sadly, life is never that straightforward and Stellar starts to question whether she’s been looking for love in all the wrong places.
MY REVIEW
Oh my gosh, I’ve just had the most hilarious time ever reading Looking Out for Love.
Stella Shakespeare who longed for love, wakes up in man’s bed, after having a few drinks in a pub. With feeling sick from the night before Stella leaves his place quick as possible. All Stella really wants to do is to find love but this man she found beside her in bed isn’t the one. After finding her way out of this man’s place, Stella is confused, she was in a part of London that she didn’t recognise. To make matters even more worse, her phone was dead, and she desperately needed to find her way to an important job interview.
Unfortunately Stella, is late for her interview, and she needed this job, at Spinks in London the most prestigious law firm. But during the interview Stella begins to feel unwell. No previous jobs have gone right for Stella. She even borrowed money from her dad, so could design a range of boxer shorts, but that ended up badly.
The question is will Stella, find love where she least expects it to?
I highly recommend Looking Out For Love as it is the perfect hilarious romantic novel.
About Sophia Money-Coutts

Sophia is a British journalist and author who spends most of her time writing at her kitchen table in South London, making a cup of tea whenever she gets stuck halfway through a sentence (this happens a LOT). She’s written four novels – The Plus One, What Happens Now?, The Wish List and Did You Miss Me? – and hopes to carry on writing books that make people laugh forever. Because we could all do with more of a laugh, these days, couldn’t we? Sometimes, if Sophia’s not drinking lukewarm tea in her leggings at home, she appears on radio and television talking about important topics such as the Royal family and how to correctly eat a pear (with your fingers, having cut it into quarters first. Sophia didn’t make this rule up, she’s just passing it on).
She also has a website (www.sophiamoneycoutts.com) which she’s been saying she’ll update since the beginning of this year. Seven months later, she has finally sorted this out and a shiny new site should be up and working by September. PROMISE.
