MY REVIEW
I absolutely loved every page of, this teen novel of the year, Steady For This. The story is more like are you ready for this! It’s such a funny tale!
Growls, comes from a poor family where his mother cut’s back on everything including toothpaste.
His best friend Shanks comes from a family that is quite well off.
Lots of boys and girls that love music, or want to be the next upcoming rapper will adore reading this book.
Growls and Shanks are brilliant rappers. Growls dream in life is to be a famous rapper with lots of money, so he eat what ever he wants to, buy what ever he likes without having to ask for his mothers approval, and then he would have lots of girls attention leading to date any girl he wanted.
At school rapper Growls has the hots for a beautiful popular girl name Tanisha, all he has to do is get her to notice him.
When Growls finally gets a date with Tanisha, it ends, before it’s properly begun.
Shaun and Growls decide to enter a rapping competition, online where everyone from school logs into, but Growls mother doesn’t realise that they are rapping online and little does his mum know she is on camera too, and not just ruins everything virtually online for Growls but embarrasses Growls so much that he doesn’t know how he will face school the next day.
This is the most best middle grade novel I have ever read, that’s why I’m very happy to recommend it to all readers including adults too.
