And then, when it’s too late to change her mind, Jude realises that saying yes to this one favour could cost her everything even her life.

MY REVIEW

The Favour, is the new keep you up all night suspense thriller from Nicci French, who is one of the UK’s best writers, bringing danger close to home.

The question is how far would you go to do a favour for your first love?

I have read one book before, Dark Saturday, by Nicci French, which I loved and gave it a five star review. The Favour is another huge five stars from me, giving it a big recommendation.

Jude meets Liam at a party, like girls do meet a boy at a party. I don’t drink any alcohol at all, but at the party, I can understand how they had too much to drink, Jude was feeling tipsy, with Liam who drunk a lot.

He shouldn’t have got in his car that night to drive Jude, home. Through Liam consuming too much alcohol he looses control of the car, hitting a tree. Unfortunately Jude suffers from migraines since the crash.

Many years later Jude has her dream job working as a junior doctor. Everything has worked out for Jude who has found love again and about to get married.

Out of the blue Liam has tracked Jude to her hospital, he needs Jude to do him a favour. I wondered why the title was The Favour and now I know why. With Jude getting being a doctor and about to get married I didn’t want her getting involved with Liam or in trouble to do her first love Liam a favour. A must buy must read!
