MY REVIEW

The Repair Shop Craft Book is Illustrated by Sonia Albert. This clever craft book is a must buy for all children that love making things. Inside this brilliant craft book it is divided into 4 sections, Making Toys, Perfect Presents, Outdoor Activities, and Do It Yourself Decorations.

The Repair Shop Craft Book has lots of fun things for boys and girls to 7 to 12 years, to make lots of unusual craft things.

Inside this special craft book it teaches children the first Craft Skills, where they will learn how to sew, stick, paint and so much more.

This craft book is jammed packed with 80 pages of wonderful craft things to make, with on each page it lists everything children will need to make their crafts.

I can see this book being used over and over again. I highly recommend this book to all parents and grandparents to buy as it will keep the children entertained throughout the summer holidays and weekends, and children will be able to follow the easy step by step guides.

In Section 1 Making Toys. One of My favourite toys to make was making a shoebox dolls house.

I love this craft idea where girls can make their own sturdy dolls house from a shoe box or any strong box. This project will keep girls entertained for hours, painting it, adding stickers, and making furniture from any scraps of cardboard around the home.

Items needed to make Shoebox Dolls House

In section 2 Perfect Presents, my favourite was how to make a salt dough necklace. By using Salt dough children can make beautiful beads, which they will have fun painting them or putting letters on each of the beads. I loved the idea children can make this necklace for friends and family, as presents.

In section 3 Outdoor Activities outdoor, my favourite was how to make a Teacup Bird Feeder, where there’s a list of items Children will need to make this easy Teacup Bird Feeder. This is a fabulous idea where children can use chipped unused teacups and saucers to make this gorgeous bird feeder.

The last section 4 Do It Yourself Decorations, my favourite was how to make a Felt Mosaic Coaster.

Their is full instructions of all the craft items children will need to make a felt mosaic coaster.

This is a lovely children’s project to make their very own coaster, with brightly coloured felt and an old coaster with cutting up the felt into little squares, and gluing the squares onto the coaster.

I wish a craft book was out like this when I was a little girl!
