Becky Bexley Child Genius: Trying to Make the World a Better Place By Diana Holbourn

Paperback published 13th June 2023 by Windy Seaside Publishing

ISBN 9781739180928

Even from the moment she was born, it was clear that Becky Bexley was not like other children. Her family were shocked by her behaviour!

Just a few years later, and she’s in secondary school, often seeming wiser than her teachers. She does her best to help people, whether they like it or not. She has advice for her teachers when they want to give up smoking, gives a boy advice he uses to stop himself being teased, and even gives the headmaster some advice on improving the school’s anti-bullying strategy.

She helps people outside school too, including rescuing her mum from a con artist, and she even gets to go to the White House, where she ends up giving the president advice about his behaviour!

He invites her to help some politicians with the depression they have. But will a few tactless remarks she makes and their own fierce disagreements unwittingly stirred up by some of the insights she tries to pass on ruin her efforts?

Becky’s advice is based on genuine therapy techniques and psychological research, and the books in this series combine humour with handy information.

MY REVIEW

I had so much fun reading this children’s book The Early Life of Becky Bexley the Child Genius, who could talk as a baby, soon as she was born, with at the age one going to school, I just had to read this brand new book 1 Becky Bexley Child Genius series, Trying to Make the World a Better Place from my favourite author Diana Holbourn.

In Trying to Make the World a Better Place, at the age of three Becky Bexley started senior school.

Becky is grown up for the age three, she talks like an adult would, offering advice, to everyone at her senior school.

At her senior school, Becky gives advice to boy who is bullied at school because he has broken his leg, walking with a limp, and he was also laughed at his egg sandwiches.

Even the headmaster gets advice from Becky, over how to deal with bullying incidents.

This is so book is funny, I loved how Becky give’s parents advice about dieting.

Becky’s mum is wasting hot water while in the shower. As Becky is so intelligent for three, she knows all about, reducing the amount of the water they use because of water shortages, which she thinks she has a solution.

I do hope there will be another Becky Bexley, Child Genius book from this amazing talented author Diana Holbourn, as I’d like to find out more of what Becky Bexley could do next.

I would like to thank LiterallyPr for inviting me to take part in this fantastic blog tour and for arranging a book to sent me. Thank you Diana Holbourn for sending me a copy of your fabulous book.
