THE PERSON RIGHT NEXT TO YOU COULD BE A COLD, HEARTLESS MURDER
In Talking with Psychopaths, bestselling author and criminologist Christopher Berry-Dee takes readers deep inside the dark minds of some of the most pitiless and dangerous people alive. Having spent years interviewing imprisoned murders including notorious serial killers he discovered the lack of remorse these people showed was in many ways even more terrifying than the crimes they had committed.
This book examines horrific crimes committed by some of the most remorseless and merciless people ever to have lived, revealing a mindset wholly alien to most people.
Talking with Psychopaths will inevitably shift the reader’s view of those capable of the most heinous murders, and in doing so reveals that horror can be much closer to us than we think.
A noted writer and criminologist of many years standing, Christopher Berry-Dee is the UK’s bestselling true-crime writer, and also the author of the bestselling Talking with Serial Killers series.
MY REVIEW
I love reading about all aspects of true-crime, with an author talking about behind the mask, in what makes a killer kill, and their mental state what may go on in their brain. Christopher lifts the lid off ever thing you have ever wanted to know about serial killers. His books I recommend for anyone who is interested in true-crime.
I had forgotten about Dr Harold Shipman, who was known as a good family doctor, but then previous patients, family and the world, got the most horrifying wake up call, when he was exposed to us all as one of the most notorious serial killers. Suzy Lamplugh was another name I had forgotten about until Christopher explains in detail about her death, in things that I didn’t even know about.
Thank you so much Tracy Fenton for very kindly inviting me to join in with this wonderful blog tour and for arranging for this book to be sent to me.
