MY REVIEW

Skylar and the K-Pop Headteacher is for 9-11 year olds. I loved how there’s a different language added into this story. Skylar knows how to speak Korean, in saying Annyeonghaseyo that means hello and is the longest word in Korean. She loves listening K-pop, which is Korean pop music. Skylar loves AZ8 who are in her eyes the best Korean boy band on the planet.

The Head teacher isn’t happy with Skylar Smith for wearing K-pop dancing bunny ears hat and confiscated them.

But just like magic, with a flash of green light, the headteacher and Skylar have both switched bodies.

11 year old Skylar finds herself dressed in Ms Callus flowered skirt and court shoes.

And the real headteacher Ms Callus is in a panic, as she finds herself in year seven and will have to do her exams again.

This twist in the story kept me gripped, I needed to find out if they can switch back to being themselves again.

I was really attracted to this eye catching beautiful colourful cover which I know will look great in book shop windows that will attract young girls attention!

If you loved watching the film Freaky Friday, you will love this hilarious body swap adventure. I highly recommend this funny book to all 9-11 year old girls.
