One of the Good Guys by Araminta Hall is one my favourite books, I must shout out loud about, it’s page-turning, a real must buy, must read!
Although it says One of the Good Guys by Araminta Hall is for 18 years and over, it’s for of us bloggers and general adult readers, that like those twist that deeply set in, that come out, giving shock waves messing with your mind.
I’m no stranger to books by Araminta Hall, with reading her first book Everything and Nothing, that was The Richard and Judy Book Club Pick, then I read Imperfect Woman and Perfect Strangers. I totally recommend all the books that Araminta Hall writes, as she is clever at building those twist and turns in every novel.
Cole and Mel meet each other through a dating website. Cole Simmonds, has just gone through a messy divorce, that has upset him, with his wife Mel who couldn’t conceive and they have ended their marriage, she now wants to get her embryos destroyed.
Cole meets single mother artist, Lennie she seems much different to him,with Lennie being much a warmer kind of woman than his wife. It’s ironic that Cole and Lennie have some things in common.
Two women set off to walk for women, a charity called Safe Space UK that’s part of walking for women who are affected by violence. When the two women go missing, police question Cole after finding evidence in his home that puts one of the women in his property.
Now the twist and turns grabbed hold of me, with my mouth falling to a big, O shape. I hope you all enjoy reading One of the Good Guys as much as I have!
