Tabby Brown is tired of trying to fit in. She doesn’t want to go to parties – in fact, she would much rather snuggle up on the sofa with her favourite book.

It’s like she hasn’t found her people …

Then Tabby joins a club that promises to celebrate books. What could go wrong? EVERYTHING – especially when making new friends brings out an AWKWARD BUZZING feeling all over her body.

But Olivia, Cassie, Henry and Ed have something that makes Tabby come back. Maybe it’s the Austen-themed fancy-dress parties, or Ed’s fluffy cat Mrs Simpkins, or could it be Henry himself …

Can Tabby let her weird out AND live THE BEST BOOKISH LIFE POSSIBLE?

Perfect for fans of Holly Smale and Super Awkward.

A brand new series from Booktuber Lucy Powrie – about what happens when you give up on trying to fit in and let your weird out! It’s time to join The Paper & Hearts Society …

MY REVIEW

A big shout out! Don’t forget to put this book on your reading list!

Although this book is aimed at 11 to 14 years old, I loved reading about Tabitha Brown, who is nicknamed Tabby. I connected with Tabby in lots of ways. She is totally book mad, just like I am, and other readers too. I knew all of the authors books that Tabby has read. Tabby always stays with her gran in Dorset, during the school breaks. This brought back my childhood memories When I used to stay with my nans every time during the school holidays. There is a girl on Instagram that Tabby has become obsessed with, reading about her post, Best night out with my favourite girls. The library opens up a new adventure for Tabby, as she is looking through books and a poster falls out of one of them, with details of a book club, that Tabby is keen to join. Now I have read this book I need to read the other two in the series. Paper and Hearts Society, is a good choice for all reading bloggers, and for any readers that read books by Holly Smale, or Zoella. This is definitely the type of fiction book that schools could stock in their schools library. All round this is big total recommendation choice from me!
