Ged was the greatest sorcerer in Earthsea, but in his youth he was the reckless Sparrowhawk. In his hunger for power and knowledge, he let loose a terrible shadow upon the world. This is the tale of of how he mastered the mighty words of power, tamed with an ancient dragon and learned that darkness is as much a part of us as the light.
MY REVIEW
As this refreshing tale has been adapted from a film into a fiction book, through its well written, reimagined story set in as graphic novel, its ideal, for children of the ages 9-11 that like reading stories in comic bubble speech form. In my view not only will young teenagers enjoy this beautiful book but adults will do to. In the novel, we follow Ged, the greatest sorcerer in Earthsea, who in his youth he was the reckless Sparrowhawk. What’s to look forward to is an ancient dragon. l loved seeing the dragons with fire coming out from them.
