MY REVIEW

This book Living With Hearing Loss And Deafness by Samantha Baines is like a bible with all you need to know and understand about people with hearing loss. This book is packed with information in why and how some people are deaf, and what will take place by an audiologist. People talk openly about their hearing loss, sign language. There’s plenty of advice for anyone who is struggling with hearing loss. People on instagram may not know this but yes I have hearing loss too. When I put my hearing aids in for the very first time, I couldn’t believe it I could hear the birds tweet, the kettle warming up. It sounded like people were talking loudly. When I went out to a restaurant I could hear the loud music, from the speakers in a restaurant, that I couldn’t hear before. Wearing hearing aids is nothing to be worried about or ashamed about, remember there are lots of famous actors who wear hearing aids too. For any of you that aren’t deaf this book will help you understand what it’s like for people that are deaf. I recommend reading this book even if you don’t have to wear hearing aids.
