I have read all of the fantasy novels from The Mortal Instruments by the Queen of fantasy books. Book 4 , City of Angels is my favourite. I loved the words at the beginning from author Cassandra Clare ALL THE STORIES ARE TRUE. Simon Lewis is my favourite character he is dating Isabelle Lightwood, and he is also dating Maia Roberts. Simon is a vampire. My favourite line. “I’m a vampire because I drank some of Raphael’s blood before I died. Drinking blood plus death equals vampire.” “Not exactly, said Isabelle. “You’re a vampire because you drank some of Raphael’s blood, and then you were bitten by other vampires, and then you died. …. Could Simon be in trouble as Raphael is a master Vampire. Simon believes he is being taken to see the Master Raphael Santiago, but he is in for a shock when Simon discovers it’s not Raphael, he has been taken to. Faeries, werewolves, vampires and Shadowhunters are all woven in to the mix of City of Fallen Angels. 14 years and grown-up Adults, The Mortal Instruments is a first class, highly addictive fantasy novel series not to be missed!
