MY REVIEW

Wow what a page-turner! I highly recommend this murder mystery for all crime fiction readers.

I loved how the author Caron Allan gave the Gascoigne family and other characters a posh well spoken accent. Well my dear! This mystery murder takes place in 1965! I couldn’t believe 30 year old Dee a language teacher got the sack from her teaching job for having a martial separation from her husband. Unemployed, she has had no option but to return back to her parent’s grand home with a butler.

When Dee, and Rob her younger brother, rent a flat together, Dee is struck down by bronchitis. She is sent away by her mother to a family friend by the quiet Sussex coast.

But while Dee is trying to recover, two murders take place. Dee is very bright and brave she helps solve the mysteries of the murders.
