MY REVIEW
I have read all Chrissie Stains Jam Factory series! I have been very entertained by the brand new series of Beastopia, with the main character Digby Griffin, who has an intelligent pet mouse named Cheddar, that goes everywhere with Digby, even to school. Digby’s family move in with his grandads big creepy house, that has unexpected creatures roaming around the place. There is a curse of the tenth birthday when pets disappear and soon Digby will be ten, when his pet mouse Cheddar has escaped from Digby’s bedroom. Children are really and truly going to love reading the fun in Beastopia.
About Chrissie Sains

Introducing Chrissie Sains, the children’s author with a wild imagination and a knack for mad-cap adventures! Growing up in Billericay, Essex, Chrissie was always seeking adventure and finding trouble. But her teachers saw the silver lining, describing her as having a “lively imagination,” which led her to become a successful storyteller.
Chrissie’s book, An Alien in the Jam Factory, illustrated by the talented Jenny Taylor, has received heaps of recognition, including being shortlisted for the Alligator’s Mouth award and the Sheffield Children’s Book award. And as if that wasn’t enough, it was also crowned Toppsta Reader’s Favourite of 2021 – take that, Harry Potter!
But wait, there’s more! Chrissie has also co-authored a children’s novel with Cara Mailey called I Got This, which has been shortlisted for The Redbridge Book Awards. The book is inspired by Cara’s experiences living with achondroplasia, and it’s safe to say that the duo have hit the jackpot with this one.
When Chrissie isn’t writing or co-authoring books, she’s busy inspiring young minds to believe in themselves. She’s passionate about inclusion and empathy, which makes her the perfect speaker for schools and festivals. So, if you ever need someone to spice up your event with tales of adventure, look no further than Chrissie Sains! https://www.instagram.com/chrissie_sains
