A splendid heartwarming story, extremely well written by the wonderful author Kittie Lambton. I have been fan of author Kittie Lambton, since reading The Cellists Notebook.
The Rescue, is one of the best stories I have read, and I will never forget. I had tears in my eyes while reading this amazing short story. The Rescue is about very gifted people in different ways, all come together.
Artists Iain, who paints by the sea, becomes great friends with Jim who has inherited a boat. Iain’s and his friend Tom, go out sailing with Jim his boat. They save a refugees life.
Katherine is a teacher and musician who plays the fiddle.
I Loved how The Rescue, story ends on a happy note.
This story will capture the hearts of readers from Scotland, to Leigh-on-sea, to Margate, Westgate, Canterbury and far as Syria.
Further more I highly recommend this reading this beautiful book, The Rescue.

The Rescue is an adaptation of Kittie Lambton’s prize winning entry to the Westgate Literary Festival 2019.
Kittie Lambton is a writer and cellist based in Scotland. She is passionate about writing books and teaching music.
Kittie enjoys exploring how music can evoke and improve memory and the importance of music in our everyday lives, not only listening to our favourite music tracks, but the role of music in our shared heritage and culture. Kittie is a strong advocate for encouraging and supporting the teaching of music to children from a young age. Kittie explores our relationship with music within her books.
ABRSM Music Theory Online Tutor Kittie has had over 26 years experience teaching in secondary schools and FE colleges. She has a PGCE from Manchester Metropolitan University and has taught both IB , IGCSE and A Level music curriculums. Kittie is currently teaching ABRSM online music theory classes.
