SHE’S TEN. SHE’S OFF ON HOLIDAY. BUT SHE’S GOING FIFY YEARS THE WRONG WAY! Ten-year-old comedian and astronomer Aahana (Aaha) Kapoor has two big problems: a holiday she doesn’t want and a stepbrother she didn’t really ask for. But when a lost teddy and some hot chocolate send her fifty years into the future, she discovers that time travel is no joke, neither is family. With the help of a rebellious robot and a suspiciously familiar Commander, Aaha races to fix the future before her flight takes off without her. A hilarious and heartwarming adventure about family, responsibility and second chances.

MY REVIEW

Aaha! Racing to Rescue a Bear Trapped in Time I found highly hilarious! Jonathan Brough is super talented at telling stories that make you laugh.

The story is easy to read, with an amazing adventure and an entertaining twists. I can already hear children roaring with laughter!

Aaha who is a ten-year-old girl, is always cracking jokes, trying to make her family laugh. She is going on holiday with her mum, stepdad and little stepbrother Barun and Captain Bear, who is his stepbrother’s favourite toy.

Aaha and her family has their flight delayed. Captain Bear gets lost.

In the airport, while waiting for their flight, Aaha falls off to sleep. She travels fifty years into the future, arriving at a spaceport, where astronauts are going travelling to planets. On her travels she meets a robot, and Captain Bear.

Before the plane takes off Aaha knew that Barun’s bear was missing and as the good stepsister, she races off to find Captain Bear.

But the question is did Aaha really travel to a spaceport, or was it just a dream?

I absolutely fell in love with this unique children’s novel, and Jonathan Brough, fun imagination, so much. I can’t wait to read book 2.
