MY REVIEW 

Wow! What a relaxing story of love within the family, and a touching tale of two budding writers falling in love. I couldn’t put this book down. 

 

The characters January and Gus were so easy to adore. It’s impossible not to love Beach Read. There’s a special reason why this book is named Beach Read. Being as this book is the best summer book that everyone is going to be talking about I’m sure many more readers are going to buy this book that is being published 9th July 2020. 

About January, her life hasn’t been that good, her mother was diagnosed with breast cancer. Her father died.

At 29 January is miserable and broke. She started telling herself a beautiful story about her perfect life, as that’s what happens in romantic novels. January is going to have the perfect job writing romantic novels. 

I loved reading about seven months later, when January and Gus had finished their books. I won’t say what kind of books they both published.  January and Gus read each other’s books. There’s no competition between them both as one will be sold first and the other ones book will be sold for a little more money.

The paperback is so good it’s hard to believe that Beach Read is Emily Henry’s debut adult novel. I certainly would like to read another adult fiction book by this author. 

Everyone will be talking about the excitement of Beach Read in the next couple of months. 

I recommend Beach Read as it’s one of the best relaxing, fiction books about writers that I have read. 

Emily Henry writes stories about love and family for both teens and adults. She studied creative writing at Hope College and the now-defunct New York Center for Art & Media Studies, a d spends most of her time in Cincinnati, Ohio, and part of Kentucky just beneath it Beach Read is her debut adult novel.
