The cluster of my romantic catastrophes were nev-er-ending. They were engrained in the laws of the universe, governed by science, and most frighteningly, always to be expected. Verity Ellis is a twenty something millennial who thinks the best way to learn about life is through dating. Unbridled in her pursuit of love, she dives head first into the dating pool, where she discovers everything is a little more complex than she thought it would be. Verity encounters a vast array of men who teach her to navigate the treacherous and mystifying journey of life and the language of love. With her sassy best friend, Lily, Verity’s twenties are fun-filled adventure of hotels, hotspots and spontaneous trips around the world.

MY REVIEW

Today my big shout out is if you like reading books about partnership and relationships with a blend of humour, don’t miss, Men I Dated So You Don’t Have To.

This truthful book is heartbreaking and hilarious, Men I Dated So You Don’t Have To is a sharp, sexy and at times, sinister tale which champions friendship and female survival in the modern age.

I found this book highly funny and entertaining. I mean let’s face it to write a book about your relationships with men that you dated has to be funny, to hold the reader’s attention and that’s what Verity Ellis has done.

Looking back at her dating life, the men varied, when she first embarked on the London dating scene

Verity has met some funny guys that she has dated in the past, with taking the right decision to write about them.

Verity had discovered that most men that she dated in twenties are full of surprises and there are some guys that that gave her some shocks to her system.

One man who Verity nicked named Max, can’t wait to have sex with her, but, a twist in the relationship is something that totally accepted in today’s world. One guy Joe is in to Crystals and further more he believes that he is spiritual. And the list of other men that Verity Ellis dated is all waiting for readers to explore.

Sometimes you have to take advice from your family or friends why a certain guy is wrong for you.

It appears that for verity it wasn’t about finding the right man for herself. It was about finding her.

I give this book the thumbs up for recommendation as I have absolutely loved reading this sexy, heartbreaking true story.
