Today I’m giving a big shout out The Twig Man is the perfect scary book for Halloween and in the cold dark nights.
The Twig Man is the most scariest book that I have read and I one hundred percent love every page. I was so into reading this fast paced spooky book I just couldn’t put this paperback down!
Oh yikes! People disappear into thin air and never heard of again.
The Twig Man would have me shaking in fear, he’s half tree half man a monster without no face and has eyes everywhere.
The Twig Man controls the woods and you mustn’t overstay your welcome in the woods.
With a curse in the woods and the scary Twig Man I wouldn’t step foot in Hanging Hill woods.
A year ago Ali’s sister Lana went missing, the police believe Lana chose to leave. Ari knows his sister would never leave him behind. Ari knows that Lana often went into the woods alone. The school where Ari attends, they all talk about the Twig Man.
In the woods Ari can hear his sister’s voice, and can smell Lana’s perfume.
When in the woods Ari in his pyjamas meets a strange young boy, Timmy in a red hat, who he strikes up a friendship with. But why is Timmy lurking in the woods all the time? And does Timmy live where he says he does? And will Ari find his sister?
This is a spine tingling spooky middle grade debt novel by author Sana Rasoul, that is perfect to read with Halloween not far away, that will have children across the country staying up late to read The Twig Man, and sharing this scary book with their friends at school.

About the author
Sana Rasoul was born in Slemani (Iraq) and lived in Baghdad until she was seven. She is a writer and teacher of Politics. She graduated with an MSc in International Relations from SOAS university (2012) and currently lives in London. Sana has been teaching and tutoring since 2013 and has contributed to magazines such as Politics Review. She developed a passion for writing after her father gifted her with the Narnia collection.
‘They would take weekly trips to Waterstones and it became a tradition to scour through the many titles. Her true calling, however, has been writing books that scare and thrill. She grew up reading anything by R.I Stine, Stephen King and Agatha Christie and continues to navigate towards the supernatural/ horror genre.
Sana is a Formula One enthusiast and a passionate supporter of the Red Bull team. Sana also enjoys gaming in her spare time and spending countless hours writing in cafes.
