MY REVIEW
After reading the first book in the series, The World’s Worst Alien, it is now my favourite alien school series, by my favourite author Alice Primmer. One evening , I was reading a few chapters in bed, reading The second book in the series, The World’s Worst Alien Fights back, laughing out loud so much, I was totally unable to contain my laughter! My daughter and my partner wondered why I was laughing so loud! 😆What was I laughing at I can’t reveal. No spoilers!
Sky is an alien. She has returned back to Earth, to go back to school. Her best friend is the only one who knows, Sky is an alien, but she is in disguise so no one in her school knows she is an alien. Sky is back with one of her missions to stop all fighting. Well that’s the idea! The school believe Sky is from Antarctica.
Can Sky stop the fighting between her school Oak Lane and the rival’s Ash Road, who seems to be the best in everything? And can Sky behave herself?
I can hear children and middle grade readers roaring with laughter when reading The World’s Worst Alien Fights back. I highly recommend the two books in the series. As a huge fan of the talented Alice Primmer I’m hoping very much that there will be a third book in the series.
About author Alice Primmer
Alice Primmer is a writer and children’s book editor. She’s been writing stories since she was six years old, and the quality has improved a little now she no longer uses felt tips. Alice studied English Literature and Old Norse (don’t ask) at the University of York, and lives in Leighton Buzzard, a place that sounds made-up but she’s almost certain is real. When she’s not writing, she can be found learning Spanish badly or watching Doctor Who expertly.https://www.instagram.com/primmerwriter
